In the spring of 2023, Ford Motor Company announced that they reached an agreement with Tesla Motors to grant Ford EV customers access to over 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across North America. This agreement will double the number of available fast chargers for Ford EV customers starting in the spring of 2024.
If you drive a Ford electric vehicle like a Ford F-150 Lightning, a Mustang Mach-E, or an E-Transit, you'll have access to a Tesla-developed adapter that will enable you to charge at Tesla Superchargers in early 2024. Starting in 2025, new Ford models will be equipped with the National American Charging Standard port, which will eliminate the need for an adapter to access a Tesla Supercharger.

When you purchase a new Ford EV, you will receive complimentary access to the BlueOval Charge Network for three years from your warranty start date. The BlueOval Charge Network cost is $50 for one year of membership at the time of this writing (October 2023), although this number is subject to change. Once you have registered your Ford EV with the BlueOval Charging Network, using it is as simple as using your FordPass app or your in-vehicle Charge Assist feature.
