The 2022 Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 261 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard across the entire lineup. A 14 kWh lithium polymer battery combined with two electric motors brings the all-electric range to 32 miles and the total range to 460 miles. Kia estimates that using a Level 2 charger a full charge is possible in about 3 hours and 25 minutes.
