My husband and I purchased a car a few weeks ago and had a great experience at the time of purchase. We love our “new” to us Volkswagen Atlas! However, part of the deal was that I would be receiving a check from Veterans Ford to payoff my lease agreement with Ford. On Friday 1/26/24 I contacted Veterans Ford to inquire about the status and was transferred to a general voicemail box. I never received a call back and it’s been nearly a week. On Monday 1/29/24 we finally received the check in the mail, deposited it and now 2 days later we just received a notice from my bank that the check they sent was bad and the funds are being removed from my account. This is extremely frustrating. Thankfully I’ve already paid the lease end fees but it would be appreciated if we could receive a GOOD check from Veterans Ford for the money we are owed…. 2/1/24: UPDATE! Adam came through for me and turned this into a 5 star experience. THANK YOU!
