The Rogue Sport looks to add to Nissan's bestselling and IIHS safety award winning Rogue lineup by entering a compact version of the Rogue into the market. The Rogue S is available in three trim levels S, SL and SV. Although the Rogue Sport S has a lack of drivetrain options all trims are given a capable 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine and CVT transmission with manual mode that achieves up to 32 mpg on the freeway when in front-wheel drive form.
The Rogue Sport S is comes standard with driver friendly features such as remote keyless entry, Easy-Fill Tire Alert, Bluetooth integration and LED daytime running lights.
The mid-level SV trim level adds one inch larger 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, push-button start, a 6 way power adjustable seat and dual climate control.
The top-level SL is even better equipped, adding unique 19-inch wheels, heated leather seats and steering wheel, navigation, a 7-inch infotainment system, fog lights, remote start and Nissan's Around-View Monitor bird's-eye-view camera system.
A number of packages are offered, such as the SV all-weather package, which adds remote start, climate control, heated steering wheel, fog lamps as well as heated seats and mirrors. The premium package adds NissanConnect telemetrics services, blind-spot warning, integrated navigation and an upgraded infotainment system. On the SL, a platinum package adds advanced safety technology such as intelligent cruise control, lane departure prevention and automatic emergency braking. The SL premium package includes a blind spot warning, high beam assist, a power-sliding moonroof and pedestrian detection.

Available Advanced Safety Features
The 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport is a brand-new version of its larger sibling the Nissan Rogue. It retains Nissans V-shaped front grille and angular boomerang taillights while setting itself apart by shrinking its dimensions, updating the front and rear fascia, and adding a multitude of strong technologies. Advanced safety features such as intelligent cruise control, lane-departure warning and emergency braking with pedestrian detection are all available. All-wheel drive is also available.
The Rogue Sport is priced in the middle of a crowded small-SUV category of worthy competitors starting at just over $22,000 for a Rogue Sport S. It competes with such vehicles as the Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V and Chevrolet Trax. All-wheel drive is available, as is a host of advanced safety technology usually reserved for much more expensive vehicles.
