The Volkswagen Atlas is all-new for 2018 as Volkswagen's introduction into the competitive class of mid-size 3-row SUVs. Notably the Atlas is very tech-savvy and packed with Safety features you would expect from the genre. The Atlas delivers a pleasant driving experience with excellent handling and well balanced adjustability for any terrain. Its steering is very light and responsive while braking feels linear and smooth.
As a late addition to an already wildly popular midsize SUV class, the Atlas has to work hard to distinguish itself in the company of such vehicles as the Chevrolet Equinox and the Toyota Highlander. However the Volkswagen Atlas features class-leading interior space for all passengers in all rows along with unique exterior styling that resembles nothing else in the segment. All Atlases equipped with all-wheel drive come with driving mode selections allowing the driver to choose the ideal setup for the type of terrain and weather you encounter, while on-road modes alter throttle, transmission and steering for Eco, Normal and Sport modes.
